The Ekvira Temple and Karla Caves - The Ekvira Temple is just a 15 min drive away, where the worship of Godess Ekvira is carried out next to the Karla caves, once a center of Buddhism. It is believed that the temple was built by the Pandavas when they were in exile.

Apart from all these one can set off on long walks amidst fields or wild nature and water bodies, leading up to the river. One can explore the river with its colourful school of fish or vegetation and colourful flowers. Malavali sation is a 5 min walk away where one can take in the rural charm while sipping on hot tea and vada pav.

Pawna Damn - Located a 30 mins drive away via Kamshet is the picturisque Pawna damn a popular picnic spot. If you’re looking to go beyond the Pavana Lake and wish to explore the areas in and around there, you will find the forts of Lohgad, Tikona and Tungi visible from the Lake.
Bushy Damn - A great place to visit during the monsoon which is when the damn usually overflows. Also known for some fun trekking.
